Breathtakingly beautiful views this morning, as I took my first dip in Torneträsk lake.
It is located in the small Swedish village of Abisko, north of the Arctic Circle, and just a stone's throw away from the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat and Abisko Scientific Research Station, as well as the Abisko National Park.
The Torneträsk lake is surrounded by glorious mountains, in a subarctic environment. The water feels cold enough to turn one's hands into popsicles. In other words; irresistible.
Cold baths have been a part of my life since 2019, and I count my blessings each time I get the opportunity to do them in such pure, and tranquil, areas like this one. Humans stem from nature, and in nature we do belong.
