Modern life is rubbish

Updated: Oct 1

As the musical polymath, gorgeous old soul and very much in tune kind of person Damon Albarn once stated; Modern life is rubbish. I agree and I truly feel in my very nature-aching heart that we would all benefit from, and that we really need to, go back to basics over and over again, day by day and throughout the rest of our our breathing days. By reclaiming nature, non-digital things, by being more present with ourselves and each other, speaking and moving from love, balancing our nervous systems (and thereby, tuning in with our individual biochemistries, and brains, its needs and its capacity), and eating real food, rather than absorbing and accepting today’s…

👁️ ...processed fake foods 👁️ ...numbness, ego-driven motivations, shut off way of living 👁️ ...urgency culture 👁️ ...the digital madness that is now normalised 👁️ ...dis-connection 👁️ ...fear-based ways of living 👁️ ...constant flickering from the vast extend of daily exposure to extremely strong artificial lights stressing our brains and nervous systems. What we need is CONNECTION. With nature. With our inner worlds. With our physical bodies. With our own wells or sources of creativity, with sobriety (whatever that means to You). We need alignment with our ancestral that makes it possible to live well, being healthy from inside, to live in creativity (again, whatever that means to You), to thrive, through the connectedness of being in alignment with our souls, and most real selves.Today’s societies make it ever so challenging to be in tune, to be vulnerable (the real strength and armour), to live authentically. But we have the power to create change. To not accept these modern absurdities. To realign and to live as much as possible with our ancestral blueprints. By repeting small healthy habits, day by day.

By simply readjusting in accordance with the way we are evolutionary designed and built for (in our own preferred rhythms and ways). To breathe, eat, live, meditate (in whatever way you feel is right for you), create, sleep, love and thrive in ancestral ways: and with natural dopamine sources rather than the ones we get from e.g. digital, robotic-pattern-creating gadgets.

How else are we going to be able to live in tune with our spirituality (which is not to be confused with religion).

How else are we going to be able to listen to our bodies and hear its needs and signs?

How else will it be possible to connect our heads to our hearts, and how else will we be able to not lose that connection?

Dare to do differently. For you, for your loved ones, for the future (our children). ❤️

With love / Hanna
